" You must go here if you're in Cairo. The park is the highest point in the city and the view is amazing. The park is beautiful and well tended. There's security all over the place and I felt safe there. They have several restaurants in the park but there is also plenty of space to picnic and outdoor snack shops. "

" The only actual park in Cairo. A beautiful spot to walk around while surrounded by the historic core of the city. I love combining a visit to the Citadel with a visit to the park. The playground is a bit rough but it's okay. Avoid going at all on a Friday as it's way to crowded. Going earlier in the day before 2 pm is your best bet on Saturdays. The restaurants are good as well. Grab a crepe at a small stand next to the lake and enjoy your walk. "
