An impressive modern church with stunning interior.
This church is dedicated to our Lady of Carmel, the patron saint of the local fishermen and officially the "Permanent Lady Mayoress" of the town of Estepona, having been given this honour by the Town Council in April 2015.
Many of the religious processions in Holy Week and at other times start from this church; the wide esplanade in front provides a good viewing point for these exceptional occasions. Don't miss them!
The inside of the church is just stunning, with large and extremely colourful stained glass windows. Do go and visit.
