" Very beautiful location, staff is friendly and provides information on what to do.
Still there have been some negative points:
- For two persons with a small tent in September the price was still 24€ for one night, which I hold to be quite expensive. Would like them to differentiate between our small tent and huge campers a bit more.
- The food in the restaurant seems to come from cans and yet they take prices of 5-8€ for a meal (definitely not worth the money, we'll try the other café at the teleferico)
- Not their fault, but our food bag outside the tent got raided by animals (I suppose dogs), so that's quite disappointing to see all food gone. There are many dogs running freely here.
All in all a discouraging stay I'm afraid. The landscape is awesome but for travelling on a budget this is not the best place.

" Okay we never stayed overnight, we had visited the cable car up the mountain just a few hundred metres away, as there's only 2 hotels in Fuente De and they were very busy and we had the dog with us, we decided to walk to the campsite and have a drink in the bar there. Unfortunately, as we passed reception the lady was quite agitated and even though our Spanish is pretty good, we struggled to understand her at first as she was so annoyed. It turned out we we're not allowed to use the bar as that is for campers on site only! Business avoidance at its best. I wouldn't use this site out of principal now, but we also saw the ridiculously close pitches and as there are plenty of other sites within 20km radius, I would avoid this unwelcoming one. "

" The staff not only spoke good english but were the some of the kindest i've ever met - they helped us with routes, the weather, travel arrangements and our equipment. Very beautiful setting with different areas for more privacy if you prefer. The bathroom was well maintained, always with hot water and different sinks to wash clothes, dishes, anything really. The food is lovely, there are even some good vegetarian options. You are expected to be reasonably quiet but this gives a really nice peaceful atmosphere. There are some great routes available from this campsite as well. Fantastic dogs. 7/5. "

" We stayed in El Redondo this August, and it was pretty quiet unlike the campings around it. The views are great, the camping very cosy, typical mountain house with stones and flowers. We had a nice experience in treatment, had a very nice chat with the owner, got some advice on what to do around. Also they had newly baked bread every morning, which was amazing. The facilities are not very new but enough and working. The campsite is a bit small though, the tents were put quite close, and the motorhomes too. We paid a bit more than in other camp, but I think it was worth it for the peace and silence. Great location far from roads and highways although might be tricky to get. Will definitely come back! "

" The places on the camping or suuuuupersmall..shame!!!! We can knock on the window of our neighbours.....scandalous.... and they ask 22 euros for it....not worth it!!!!!!! I've been at beter places......😡😡😡😡😡 "
