Vunilagi Book Club promotes reading and books in settlement and rural communities around FijiVunilagi Book Club (VBC) has been holding reading sessions in the settlement community of Nanuku on the outskirts of Fiji's capital for the last three years. Children from all ethnic and religious backgrounds are welcome to attend reading sessions where volunteers read interactively in small groups before children are sent home with a piece of fruit. The success and sustainability of Vunilagi program is largely contributed to the "need" that exists at community level for many families and their children when it comes to reading and books.
