Rattans Civil Contractors Co. Ltd was first established in 1998 as V. K. Rattans Digging Works. In 2005, the company was restructured and renamed to Rattans Civil Contractors and our core business was shifted from generalised Earth Works to Civil Engineering. Since 2005, Rattans Civil has become one of the leading Civil Engineering Contractors in the Western Division of Fiji.

In 2010, we established a branch at Vatukoula Gold Mines (Vatukoula, Fiji) to carry out projects for the company and are expanding our expertise further into the civil engineering aspects of the mining industry. We have been involved in resort and infrastructure development projects and offer a wide range of services that include Bulk Excavation, Drainage, Haulage Services, Survey, Landscaping, Demolition & Transportation.

We set up our quarry and crushing business in late 2011 and have since established hard rock (basalt) quarries in Volivoli (Rakiraki) and Vatukoula (Tavua). These quarries are now the core of our current business.

We employ 50 people as local operators, and provide specialized in house services that would normally require expatriate out sourcing in Fiji; such as survey and supervision.

Our superb fleet of machinery is comprised of new and efficient machines including 5 to 22.5 ton Excavators, Graders, Loaders, Rollers, Compactors, Bull Dozers, Dump Trucks and Transporters as well as rock crushers and screens.

To back this up we have a full mechanical team and extensive workshop capability.
