" The best place on earth, paradise! Beautiful beach, warm see, far away from civilisation. What else! "

" Good place to do snorkel but not to luxury to be so expensive. The personal is not very helpfully, the food sometimes is pretentious and not to much and I had to pay for the hotel boat to reach the big boat (in other hotel never ask me nothing). Internet didn't work in the pool and in the others spots didn't work in my phone, nobody helped me... "

" Just spent 6 nights there - accommodations are top notch in a pristine/idyllic setting out of your fantasies. We stayed in one of the Villas. The reef is accessible via the gentle slope of the beach to all snorkeler levels with its vibrantly life filled coral reef and diverse sea life/fish, etc. that stretches for almost a mile. You can snorkel here even on windy days. Saw1 meter' long barracuda swim by on my last snorkel! Super friendly and happy staff, excellent meals, great scuba dive sites accessible in very short boat rides. Get certified with any of their great dive instructors (Joe, Sylvano & Martina). Rental gear for dives and snorkeling are available. Enjoy nightly Kava during the week (& tales of local history) from Bale'. Gentle Live Music during many dinners provided by the multi-talented staff. There are other entertainment options, short trips, cave snorkeling, other sites, village visits, hike, etc. "

" Visited for three nights early November with my wife and 8 month old baby. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and all our needs were met. In particular, when the ferry lost our bags and we were without baby formula, clothes and nappies for a day the staff did what they could to find some clothes for our boy and borrowed some nappies from local families. The staff were fantastic and made special puree meals for our boy for both lunch and dinner, and were happy to wash our baby bottles in the dishwasher behind the bar. Rooms were spacious and clean with open-air bathrooms. I was impressed with the wifi in a relatively remote location. Would love to visit again in the future. "

" Great food. Great people. Great diving especially. Don't bother with the snorkeling near this island. There are far better snorkeling spots at other islands (like Navini). "

" Had a great stay for 6 nights in the dorms. They are very comfortable and give you plenty of space (single beds, not bunks), well cooled and cleaned every day. Shared bathrooms and showers are great and clean as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful!
Food here is great and gives you quite a luxury feeling for the price. Buffet for breakfast, a la carte lunch with a static but quite large menu, dinner varies between buffet and three course a la carte. Food was always very good, the compulsory meal plan is $109 per adult (which is relatively expensive but you get what you pay for here!). Bar open til around 10pm, but drinks are quite expensive as well!
There are plenty of activities every day (for example village visit, kava ceremony, snorkeling/dive/cave trips, crab racing). Snorkeling is fine just off the beach, kayaking available as well. There's a one hour hike up to the peak with gorgeous views. Walking along the beach gives you some potential privacy for a sunset picnic! Both the beach and pool have plenty of chairs for sunbathing.
WiFi is free but quite lacking and very unreliable (basically don't ever expect to have consistent internet access).
The crowd here is mostly families and couples but solo travelers can hope to meet other people as well especially staying in the dorms. There's plenty of things to do here so staying for several days will be fine, you won't run out of things to do!
Keep in mind boat trip to/from Nadi will take you up to 5 hours.
I enjoyed my stay here and would return! Greatly recommended! "

" I truly think that this was the nicest, most well run resort I have ever been to. The management and staff were amazing. The activities offered were excellent and reasonably priced. Things that really stood out for me were :
The quality of the food was outstanding. They charged 109.00 Fijian for their daily meal plan. This included a breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. Fresh fish, great deserts and wonderful service. The chef, Richard, was outstanding and visited my table to ask how everything was.
The bungalows are clean and well maintained with well designed outdoor showers. Housekeeping was outstanding and the housekeeping staff knew my name after one day. In fact almost every staff member knew my name and greeted me warmly every time I saw them.
The activity center was very well run as well. Aside from the personalized service they had great activities! One morning I went on the blue lagoon (from the movie) tour. They made sure we were the first group in and it was magnificent. The water was crystal clear and we were the only group there. As we were leaving 4 or 5 boats from other resorts or cruise ships were arriving. Had we been there later it would have been packed. Not for us🌝....
The surrounding area was magnificent. The resort has worked with the local community to create a marine reserve in front of the facility. I really enjoyed being able to walk out of my bungalow and straight into the water. There have been 2 cyclones recently in the area and the coral has had a rough go of it. Here you can see it coming back. Giant clams, large fish and even Nemo fish abound.
I did not bring my ten year old(next year). I did look around though and the resort accommodated children quite well. For the little ones I would see them walking around with their Fijian nannies or in the kids play room doing activities. The middle to older children would go out front on the floating jungle gyms or snorkaling with their parents out front. The older.. Above eight years old.. Were welcome on the excursions with the adults. A few times I watched the activity guys giving snorkaling lessons so the parents could explore a little on their own.
Here are a few things that I would recommend.
Take the ferry (yasawa flyer) to the resort and fly out. This way you can enjoy the magnificent scenery on the way in and then see it from the air on the way out.
Go on a fishing trip. The kitchen will take your fish and create an amazing meal or two for you.
Go on the snorkaling trips...
Strongly consider getting your dive certification here. They have a great staff, the cost is (as usual) reasonable and you will learn how to scuba in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Take the kids. They will make friends with fellow travelers and have as much fun as the adults.

" Great tropical resort. Came here as a stop on our honeymoon and it was the perfect way to start the trip. The staff is all very welcoming and friendly. The beach side bungalows are paradise, with beautiful private outdoor shower and bathroom and a bedroom that opens onto the water. Activities vary every day and there really is something for everyone. Food at night was mostly pretty good, but be prepared to eat on island time (ie not the fastest service). "
