Leynavatn is a lake on the island of Streymoy in the Faroe Islands. Leynavatn is the sixth-largest natural lake in the Faroe Islands and it measures 0.18 square kilometers. It lies at an elevation of 63 meters. The lake is a popular for flyfishing and one of the three lakes in the Faroe Islands where you can fish for the Atlantic salmon.

Hósvík is located on a bay on Streymoys east-coast and the village has 281. The location is central and is a good base if you want to travel around and explore the highlights of the Faroe Islands.
Hósvík was at one point called Thórsvík or Thors Bay, but was renamed to Hósvík. It was called Thors Bay because of the founder, who was believed to be called Tórhallur.
