" Stayed here as part of an Inntravel walking tour. Hotel staff are very friendly. Room and bathroom are nice. Being in a 17th century building there is no lift. The weather in late May hit 90, so it was warm without air conditioning. Just open the window and turn on the fan. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was good. "

" Great place to visit the Abbey of Fontenvraud and surroundings. The hotel is great for one night stop or a weekend or a base camp to explore the region. Rooms are clean and have been renovated and still the hotel keeps style. The swimming pool is the required asset to relax after walking or biking around and a must if you go with kids. The restaurant is super good: enjoy the plate de jours slowly and ask for a good/excellent local wine "
