" Such a lovely find down a country road - out of the way of everything. On arrival we were greeted warmly by the ladies in reception and checked in quickly with no problems. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed with a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and even a hair dryer. We went to the Sports bar and had a couple of drinks before deciding on dinner plans. We sat over lookong the golf course which was lovely. The beer tasted good and fresh. There was plenty of choice to drink although the dinner menu in there seemed a little plain so we decided to book a table in the Brasserie. We were so glad we did this as the food was just beautiful. All well presented and tasty. The service was fabulous and the food was hot. We had 3 courses as it was so good. We really enjoyed our stay here. We could Have used the pool facilities but we didn't have time and the spa looked very inviting. Maybe next time! "

" Played the valley course on a pleasant Sunday so was expecting it to be fairly busy. What we turned up to was a total shambles with far too many 4 balls booked into a short period resulting in it taking 6 1/2 hours to get round. Couldn't get into any sort of rhythm with a wait to take every shot and often a 3 deep que on each tee box. In addition to this some fairways were smothered with leaves up to four inches thick in places, meaning a perfect drive straight down the middle resulted in a lost ball. Ridiculous. Please purchase a leaf blower. "

" Two good courses both in excellent condition food was good could have had more to choose from. Rooms where clean and spacious. Only thought was the price of drinks and if you book with a tour operator you get discount but if like use booked directly with hotel you paid the full price for food and drink . "

" I am a member of the gym which includes the pool and associated amenities. The staff are all professional and friendly, helping with any issues you may have. While not huge, the gym is very well equipped for most activities you may wish to train with. The pool is 11m long and split between lane swimming and relaxing/lessons. There is a jacuzzi element to the shallower pool, sauna and steam room, all maintained well. Generally the gym is a pleasant place to train and I would highly recommend it. Well worth visiting to see for yourself. "

" Set in beautiful landscape the hotel is well kept with an excellent balance of traditional feel with contemporary comfort. Faultless staff with smiles and very hospitable. While our afternoon tea cost a pretty penny and wasn't good value for money in itself, the overall experience really was excellent and worth the cost. "
