" Pretty poor service from Benjamin Charles, for my first haircut Ben was running late, which is fine if its a short delay but in the end he was 40 mins late!
Second appointment I missed, which was completely my fault as I got the wrong day, but I never got a call on the right day to ask where I was?
Third appointment, I had to book 2 and a half weeks in advance due to evening availability and then a week before it was cancelled by the salon and I couldn't get another evening appointment for another 2 weeks! Needless to say, I am going to a different salon. "

" I moved to the area a while ago. Around the same time, I decided to go from long hair to short - very difficult decision in itself, and downright scary since I did not have a hairdresser I knew and trusted. I found Benn online, and he was absolutely delightful. He gave me a free consult and I got the impression that he not only really cared about what style I wanted but also really enjoyed the whole thing. He really took his time talking it through and explaining what he was planning on doing, and why. I love my new style, and have gotten SO many compliments on it (including one friend who took my photo to show her hairdresser what she wanted him to do with her hair). Today, I also went for a new colour, and love that even more than the style, if that's possible.
I saw that some people on here complained about the scheduling and the running late - but I think that is only because Benn and his staff are such very nice people, who don't just want to get you in, get you done and get you out. I do budget my time generously when I have an appointment, but it is so definitely absolutely totally worth it! Thanks so much, Benn, for your fabulous artwork. "
