" Excellent mummy daughter day. Half day spa was bought as a much appreciated gift. Overall experience was excellent (especially lunch) We used the pool and the jacuzzi which was situated in the lovely enclosed courtyard with open fire.) We walked the trim trail after lunch as it was nice to stretch our legs after our relaxing morning treatments.(Only slight negatives, firstly, we didn't use sauna and steam room as we felt we'd like to pop in + out whilst using pool and sadly they are on different levels of the building meaning we'd have to walk through main reception/cafe areas to access staircase) ...sadly not situated next to each other as you'd normally expect. Secondly, was both our lockers wouldn't open with our codes while we we wet and wanting to get changed. We'd tested them previously but they were temperamental. A young member of staff insisted we'd put codes in wrongly, second time it happened the member of staff confirmed they can get stuck) Food + drinks excellent, environment very pleasant, views from conservatory beautiful.. . The staff very friendly. All were helpful + efficient "

" I've been to numerous events and meetings at Calcot, and used their interiors and gardens for catalogue shoots. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff are attentive, friendly but not fawning - the perfect mix. "

" We were a large family group with five young children in tow. Calcot Manor could not have been a lovelier place for our visit to the Cotswolds.
The Family Suites were wonderful, the staff at the restaurants and at the front desk were exemplary and we wpuld recommend the hotel to our family and friends.
The children have asked to return next year , so that the presently 7-year old will be old enough to " go up to the computer loft in the Playroom". "

" My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and sadly we were very disappointed with the food in the conservatory.
I tried to complain about my main course but the waitress couldn't speak much English and we had to send our desert back .... it seems one can get an apple tart horribly wrong. Quite disappointed over all. "

" Simply stunning. Beautiful setting and surrounding. Accommodation and hospitality was superb. Food is excellent, especially the grill. The grounds and facilities offer everything you need for a relaxing break both for couples and families. "
