" I hate giving bad reviews but I am so mad with this company. The reason for my 1 star is because the customer service and attitude I found to be appalling. I am all for sticking to the policies, however there was a lack of understanding and helpfulness on their part, their website doesn't state (or at least I couldn't find where it states) that you have to put a £400 deposit on a car before they will hold it for you and it's only refundable if "the car is wildly different from our detailed description." We live 3hrs away with a newborn and so wanted to ensure we were able to drive the car away on the same day, if we wished to purchase (cash by the way so an easy sale!). This wasn't possible either because they wont let it go without a new MOT from themselves which at the weekend (when most people are available to buy cars) their garage is only open till 12:30 Saturday and that's that - the car has 8 months MOT on it anyway but they wouldn't allow us to take it away like that either! They wouldn't budge on the £400 deposit and no budging on the MOT. It feels like we are being forced to put a large deposit down without seeing it first and if we change our minds, we'd have a fight get it back. We were trying to be as flexible as possible with them but it seems they are more bothered about paperwork than genuine custom, I'm all for sticking to the T&C's but feel like I was the one begging to buy a car which is a little backwards. Oh and you also have to pay a £50 admin fee so we'd have to pay for all the paperwork we are being forced to adhere too....it's a shame I have to give a bad review without even stepping through the door but unfortunately this is the way we have been made to feel. "
