But the killer - and this is something specific to this store - is the slowed down service. The refurb installed a second till which should speed things up but but the queues have got longer. "

" Service has certainly gone down hill, since last year it feels like it's on a go slow. It's the typical Costa just slowed right down, I'm not surprised that muffin break is now doing so much better over the road, with no queue it shouldn't take 10 minutes to make 2 coffee's
New decor looks good and I'm sure it will last years as it's empty most of the time. "

" Door propped open in the middle of March flooding the place with cold air while people are trying to enjoy hot drinks and food.This is a very basic customer service failing and easy to put right. And yet it was deliberate. Done by staff staff to get tables and chairs inside but that doesn't take 50 minutes in stops and starts. Entire visit ruined. I'll go back to Muffin Stop. "
