...when you've been 'out of office' attending the birth of your grandson and your daughter definitely deserves her favourite peanut butter & lemon and poppy cookies after all that hard 'labour' (do you see what I did there ;) ) A quick trip to Tesco for supplies - strangely my daughter isn't quite into baking like me ;) and a rummage in her cupboards and then - cookies!!

I wonder how hard Storm Hannah is battering this lighthouse right now, it's Corbiere Lighthouse, Jersey? The SnackaJack lighthouse sits proudly on top of a chunky piece of chocolate 'rock' cake as Alan is happily cleaning the windows up a VERY long ladder! ;) The Lighthouse is complete with working light and working weather vein. Happy Birthday Alan - (I've seen a picture of you with your cake and you do look happy - I hope you eventually cut and ate your cake!) :)

And it's a 'happy lots of things' to us girls - Mother's Day tomorrow for me, Mum and sister Siobhan and Mum and niece Niamh's birthday's on Tuesday - so as they've popped up from London for the weekend to celebrate it's cake all round this afternoon in the sunshine! Victoria sandwich with fresh strawberries - yum!
