" An Absolute Stunner.

Don't miss this trip, the home of Lee Miller, an absolutely beautiful Vogue model and her partner Surrealist painter and biographer Roland Penrose.

You are escorted through their home and can get up tight with (but not touch) all their 'everyday' objects and artwork. The house is stuck in a slight time-warp because, sadly, Lee Miller and Roland Penrose died at the end of the 20th century. But it is no dusty museum as the house is occupied by their family.

Apart from Lee's amazing photography and Roland's paintings and collection, you will be closer to real Picasso, Man Ray, Max Ernst and Joan Miró, than you ever thought. They are just part of the dressing of the lovely farmhouse set in the East Sussex countryside. Not only that, the baby you see that Picasso playing with in Lee's photos is the guy who could be taking you round or making you tea and coffee. He knows all about the life and times of the Surrealists as he was brought up, living with them.

Lee Miller is an important photographer, not only for her early artistic work with Man Ray but she became an American War Correspondent in WWII and her work is on display with framed prints at reasonable prices. Check out her taking a bath in Hitler's apartment while he cowered in his bunker. Then examine the drinks tray on the sideboard… "
