Brief History:
The first church of Free Believers in Christ Fellowship Int'l. was established in Baguio City, Philippines in 1983. It grew quickly to different barangays, municipalities, provinces and cities in the philippines and branched outside to other countries. Today, there are over 300 organised and established churches in over 31 provinces including 15 cities in the Philippines. There are about 300 full time church workers, pastors and self support volunteer pastoring leaders taking care of the work of the Lord in the Philippines.
The first country it expanded to was in Hong Kong in February 1991 followed by Macau, Singapore in 1993, Malaysia & Taiwan in 1995. Then it branched outside Asia when it opened its first outreach in Canada in 1996, London UK in 1997, Israel in 1998 followed by other European nations in 1999. To date, there are over 120 church congregations outside the Philippines in Asia, North America, Europe and Middle East, Scandinavia, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and USA with Hong Kong as the international headquarters.
By the grace of God, FBCFI will continue to share the Good News and press on for more souls and more grounds for the Kingdom of God on earth until Jesus comes again.
Our Vision:
We envision to proclaim, promote and advocate the full Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world by whatever means, form or manner in accordance with the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Our Pledge:
I love the Lord my God with all my heart, and with all my soul and with all my strength. He is my Creator and the Saviour of my soul. He protects my life, my family and my all. He gives me strength to endure my trials and persecutions and lifts me up each time I fall. In return I will serve Him with all my life, my whole, to do His will all the time I hear His call. I will cherish and obey His Word, His laws and His commands. I will share Jesus Christ to everyone at every chance to witness and testify of His wonderful deeds for men. I will love, uphold and devote myself to the family of true believers in Jesus Christ and will support His gospel by which I have seen the light and gained my salvation. I renounce and shake off every bondage of the evil one, every sin and wickedness of the flesh and continually seek after righteousness. I will always be a true and free
