" We stayed at Hawkshead Hall at the end of the season but found the facilities were still kept and cleaned to a high standard. The rest room was a nice addition to the site and included a television for campers who had not brought their own. The site is within walking distance from Hawkshead via a path which runs by a stream. A very pleasant walk which takes 10 to 15 mins. I recommend this site. "

" A nice and spacious campsite, with well-kept pitches and a lenient approach to BBQ's and noise levels.
The facilities were outstanding for the price - showers and toilets seemed very new, always pristine and clean. Didn't use the TV room/lounge or Wifi so cannot vouch for these. "
