" Lovely place in the style of a Swiss chalet. Conveniently situated a short taxi ride to the historic city of Chester. My friends said that the breakfast was good value at £5 and that they enjoyed watching the local wildlife through the dining room windows as they ate. Staff very friendly "

" Room is okay but carpet isn't clean all round. I have dust allergies too so even if it wasn't visible i can feel how dusty it is. The food is good for breakfast. But isn't open late by any means which is bad for us as we work long hours on this job. Service is fine, though again not 24 hour. Staircase is a terrible design for a hotel and there is no lift. "

" For the price its what you'd expect ( no frills ) reception area and restaurant is nice and upto date, rooms are dated. And on checkin room smelled of smoke. "
