" Accommodation of a fairly high standard for the price. General decor quite chic and modern with very pleasant open bar, restaurant and lounge area (plus pool table for amusement). Worth a higher rating had not it been for the standard of breakfast - very fatty back bacon, no fried eggs (just scrambled that needed cutting with a knife) plus some things one might expect to be on the menu such as grilled tomato and mushrooms absent entirely. Toast could only be made using slices one had cut from a very small loaf - and getting them out of the toaster without burning oneself wasn't at all an easy task. Parking was also a bit of an issue as this was either on the street or in a pay and display car park 100 metres away. However, there was plenty of dedicated space in front of the hotel for loading and unloading or brief waits. "

" Location was about a 5 minute walk from the train station which is quite convenient. The room was fairly big including the bathroom, treatment from staff was also excellent. Would recommend staying here "

" Room was very nice. Well presented and clean. Front of house and barstaff were polite and helpful. Food is limited, vastly overpriced and portions were small. I'd happily stay here again but I wouldn't eat here of an evening. "
