" I visited here a couple of weeks ago and suffered at the hands of Melanie. I've decided to do my review today after hearing from a friend that someone else has had a similar experience and left a review on Facebook (I don't do Facebook).
Basically I went in to look at shoes, veils, head dresses, jewellery etc. Melanie asked about my dress and said I needed to have my dress on to buy a veil and why hadn't I bought one at the same time and basically laid into me. She the said something along the lines of "You are not bringing your dress into MY shop, " really rudely, at which point I said thank you and left. I had not asked to bring it in. Her attitude stinks and she really needs a lesson or ten in customer service. She presumably is the owner - I would not like to be a member of her staff.
Interestingly, the other bridal shop in Norwich and presumably their main rivals - Prima Donna - hearing I had already purchased a dress elsewhere congratulated me and said they were delighted I had found one. What a difference! "

" I was very pleased with my first visit to the store, I had found my dream dress and the staff were very helpful, for that you cannot fault them. However, when I went to pick up my dress I was less pleased. I was told that the in house seamstress Kate had too much work on to make the alterations to my dress and would have to go somewhere else, they recommended somewhere else which already living quite a way out from Norwich was very difficult for me to do, so I had to sort it all out by myself. When I was called to say the dress was in, I was not made aware of any of this. Made the last few days very stressful having to sort out something I was told would be done for me. Having an in house seamstress in a bridal shop should mean you get your dress sorted in a stress free and fun way, not the case here. "
