" We stayed at Reader’s Cottage in Sedbergh, a 200-year old former stone built saddler’s workshop in the town centre and close to pubs, restaurants, shops and all amenities. This ancient and picturesque town nestles in the Howgills, an area of fantastic scenery and ideal for walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits, whilst remaining unspoilt by the mass tourism of many other destinations. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District and sleeps two. It is very comfortable with its Laura Ashley King Size bed. Original beam lintels span the doors and windows. The kitchen-diner is fully equipped and the lounge is a very comfortable place to relax following the day’s activities. The shower room has an enclosed shower, and a gas fire and central heating boiler provides the cottage with heat. If you want a relaxing holiday, with access to all amenities without the crowds, this is the ideal destination. Tom & Jayne, Yorkshire. "
