" This place was recommended by my colleague who lives in Hastings all his life and told me its owned by the same family from 1960's. Went there two weeks ago along with other 9 motorcyclist on the trip from London. I think owner's wife took our orders and within about 5 minutes started serving probably the best cod and chips I've ever had. Prices were very reasonable and large portions at the Life Boat are seriously LARGE. Would definitely go there again! "
