" We stayed 1st Nov just overnight to spend time in Clarks Village. We checked in quickly, room was large double at the side (room no. 12). Good shower, plenty of space for bags etc, could hear a little noise from outside but nothing too bad (didnt keep us awake). Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. We asked for more tea/sugar and milk and were given loads straight away. Very atmospheric building but our room was modern with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good and we had an evening meal in the bar. This was also very nice, good value. It was explained to us the meals were typical Portuguese and they were delicious. We couldnt fault anything and will definately be coming back. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable. "

" The hotel seems historical and quaint. Rooms are in need of updating as mine was a bit rough around the edges but acceptable. My room was a single and a bit cramped; in future I would probably take a double. Rooms are also close to the town's main thoroughfare therefore you can hear traffic passing by. Staff very helpful and friendly. Generous complementary breakfast. "
