" My wife, daughter and grandchildren visited the museum on Friday 2nd June. What a great little museum. So much to see and do for all ages and all free. I could have spent hours looking at the variety of fantastic exhibits there to see. Everything was very well presented and the guides/helpers very supportive. I have one observation which has negative implications and it concerns the quiz available for the children. Many, mine included, rushed around the exhibits looking for letters on shells and the vast majority completely missed the fantastic learning opportunities open to them. Why do this when there is so much to see and we should be encouraging children to look and think. This game spoilt it for my wife and I who would have loved to engage with our grandchildren on the artifacts, pictures and reading materials there for them to see. Please do not deflect from what is excellent and dumb down what could have been an educational and excitingly stimulating experience so obviously available for them. "
