" Dreadful! The Manageress has no customer skills whatsoever. She is rude and lacks knowledge though she has the attitude that she knows everything. If you are thinking about taking your Child for a pointe shoe fitting please DO NOT they will try to tell you that Suffolks are the best brand and the only shoe you should wear the fact is everyone's feet are different and will suit different styles of pointe shoes there are so many available and it all depends on your Childs feet their shape, flexibility, etc the bad reviews on here are the ones you should take note of the good reviews are really a chance you could get good service and most of the other staff in the shop are nice but there is no guarantee that you will get a good assistant and of course only a few are trained in pointe shoe fitting but after all the years I have danced and now as a Teacher I honestly do not think they fit shoes properly especially if they try to convince you to buy Suffolks or convince you that the shoe is perfect your Child will not have the confidence to say they don't feel right pointe shoes feel very odd at first anyway. So many people I know and fellow Teachers feel this shop has progressively got worse through the years. I really advise that you do not shop there most definitely do not shop there for Pointe shoes. Oh and also you will notice the prices in shop increase a LOT from online prices and their postage charges are ridiculous. Hope this helps some of you. If you read theses reviews Manageress get some people skills clean up your act and do not be so rude and obnoxious to people just because they don't agree with your ridiculous Suffolks obsession! "

" I went to buy some ballet shoes for my 5-year-old last week and was disgusted by the lack of customer service I experienced. I asked for my daughter's feet to be measured but was told that the pair of shoes the sales woman had in her hands were what they started with! I tried to explain that my daughter has one foot slightly bigger than the other but she was not remotely interested. This is not the first time I have experienced the shocking lack of customer service there. I have vowed never to shop there again, even to buy items online. I did this last year but was charged a shocking amount for p&p to then have the items sent two weeks later by 2nd class post! "

Needed shoes for daughter quickly, I know her size as had them before. See shoes on website, drive to shop as need them that day. The shoes are £8/9 more in the shop! A huge difference even allowing for the fact that there are often different web/shop prices.
The reason given "well because you don't have to pay to have them delivered" ( I've just paid fuel to get there and they don't need to send them!)
"Well because we fit them"
I don't need you to fit them. And even so, any other shoe shops charge more for that.
I was polite, but no real explanation and they would rather me leave the shop and lose the sale than see good sense in offering web price or close to it.
