Apart from the fact it's expensive, the biggest negative for me is that they don't sell Daiwa and Shimano gear. "Whaaat?!" Yep, you read that correct. No idea what they were thinking when they made that decision, but it's something they should reconsider ... and fast! Not offering these two major angling brands (in particular Shimano), in connection with their shop prices, is, in my opinion, a recipe for disaster in the long term. Anyway, by all means, go and have a look ... while the shop is still there. "

" Had to return a fly reel to Hardy due to the drag not holding as it should. Found staff obnoxious and generally uninterested in the problem. Had reel back after so called repair to find it unchanged. Thought it pointless to complain after my earlier experience with the customer service dept. "
