" We stayed last weekend and were lucky enough to have the Grizedale room.
Lovely comfortable 4 poster!
Are breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, superb! I only ever eat battered fish and chips in good restaurants, not keen on the takeaway variety. The chef did the best I have had. The lamb on the second night was again lovely.
Breakfasted on poached smoked haddock with a poached egg on top. Mind-blowing.
Happy, friendly place with great staff.
Will be back.
I forgot to mention the views from the terrace and bedroom. Spectacular, peaceful, lovely. "

" Lovely hotel with fantastic views all around, and friendly and helpful staff. Sawrey House Hotel is sparkling clean and smells fresh like build yesterday. Great selection on breakfast and throughout the day .
All this comes at a very reasonable price including breakfast.
I look forward to comeback again.
