" Today I said yes to the dress! X finding my wedding dress was slowing becoming the most stressful part of planning our wedding as I was just genuinely dreading! X being a plus size bride and not happy with with my size I just didn't want to do it! X I have been to other shops where they look me up and down and judge me straight away! One shop even kicked me out after half an hour saying they have nothing for me! but Chantelle and all the ladies at serenity were amazing! X she listened to what I wanted from my dress, we tried and few on, found some good ones and then she went and got one for me to try and this turned out to be the dress of my dreams! X she was extremely patient and helpful! X I had such a lovely time at both visits and can't wait till my dress comes in so I can put it on again!!! X the seamstress even came to me as I wanted to add a little something to the dress and she couldn't have been more helpful either!!! X THANKYOU SERENITY!!!! X x x x "

" A bit of a late review but nonetheless I feel it is important to post due to recent reviews I have read that are similar to out disaster.
My wife ordered a dress from Serenity Brides in 2015 which she absolutely fell in love with. She was required to attend the shop several times before the big day for fittings.
All was good until she attended for her final fitting which was two weeks before our big day. To her surprise she had found that the dress had miraculously shrunk several inches and looked absolutely awful.
When she challenged the shop the staff and manager because very defensive and quite aggressive stating that it was my wife's fault and not theirs even though the dress had never even left their shop.
My wife left the shop in tears and in tears as her dress was ruined.
Once she informed me of what had happened she was then forced to show me pictures of the dress.
Luckily she had pictures of the dress before any alterations and then pictures after the alterations.
I then wrote them a letter advising that they have ruined the dress and that I had photographic proof. I threatened them with legal action if they did not refund us in full.
A day later we received a call from them advising that they would be refunding us in full.
All of this happened just two weeks before our big day! So you can imagine how stressful this was for my wife.
Luckily Abigail's collection on the high street saved the day! Their customer service was second to none! "

" Serenity was the first of a few appointments I had made for dress fittings but I cancelled them after I (& my friend) had been here! Lots of dresses to choose from and helpful, positive advice from my consultant Donna. She even got a colleague to source & collect dresses from their sister branch. The change rooms were spacious & comfortable, we had wine, and lots of laughs. Donna gave constructive yet kind opinions, and used lots of accessories to help visualise each "look". We were given as much time as we needed in the room to fully consider the options with no pressure to purchase. I felt the service to be so warm & personal that I had no qualms saying yes to a dress that I wasn't expecting. I felt like a princess from start to finish. I would ideally have liked a bigger range of short dresses, but this is an expensive business to furnish & my style is rather "niche". That said I have a dress I love & can't wait for my fiancé to see. Thankyou Donna, and Serenity! "

" I went into Serenity Brides with very little idea about ANY detail of my wedding dress that I wanted- colour, style, shape, accessories, any of it.
The staff were so helpful, and friendly-I think I tried on about 11 dresses in the end, and at no point was I rushed. They even took the time to try different accessories with dresses, and helped me to consider looks that I would not have thought about on my own (pearls, it turns out, are not just for the old!).
As it was just me and my mum, it was really useful to get the opinions of the staff-including the lady who was steaming dresses at the time. To get objective opinions was a real help, and a great antithesis to my mum's 'that's lovely', and my own preconceptions of my big bum or which part of my body to enhance.
The best advice, be open-minded, and try everything on that is suggested. These ladies KNOW what they are doing, and you may end up surprising yourself ! "
