" The hotel is just wonderful! We stayed in a Crafted room with locally made wooden furniture, locally made toiletries and hospitality items. Very comfortable beds! Lovely staff. Great breakfast with local produce. Fully recommend!

" Stunning hotel. Would never believe that you are at a service station. Excellent food, lovely attentive staff. So good that I decided to stay on the way back. Views of the Lake District are lovely especially after the day I had had. Will most definitely stay again "

" Motorway services are usually drab and mundane but this one is different with a duck pond to look out on from the cafe seating area. There is also fairly good food and coffee on offer along with a rather nice farm shop. Down side is that it is always busy because it is one of the better service stations on the M6. "
