" Stayed over a bank holiday weekend. Staff were warm and welcoming. The third floor room was comfortable and clean. The water pressure was good enough for my shower. The free WiFi was excellent, achieving 30Mbps download. There were several power sockets available for charging phones etc. Cooked breakfast was delicious and recommended. I would highly endorse this hotel. "

" With friends who are walking the SWCP with me l spent 4 nights at The Carlton. Since our stay last year there has been a change of ownership which has resulted in a programme of refurbishment. The new library/lounge is a great addition. The standard of the food has vastly improved and the welcome given was good. "
