" Quiet undiscovered gem with great food and service. Beef two ways was superb with a tender fillet and beef pie. Sea bass was perfectly prepared. Wine list was spartan but adequate. I highly recommend this restaurant as a favorable alternative to the usual pub fare. "

" A gem of a restaurant. V good food and presentation. Friendly service prepared to ask the chef to cook meat to the lack of pinkness (in my case nil) that the customer wants without a sniff of disapproval. Rack of lamb and lemon posset excellent. "

" Cannot recommend highly enough! Friendly staff, wonderful food, very accommodating. Brought a homemade cake from home for a friends birthday meal and they brought it out at the end of the night and sang for her. Will most definitely be back again!
