" This is an old cinema (The Picture Palace) which like many has been converted into a J. D. Wetherspoons.
The menu is the same nationally so head online. The food is not healthy and not cooked fresh, but it is cheap and affordable. You can have a meal and a drink for less than £7.
Locals head here on a Friday night because it is one of the cheapest in the town for drinks. It closes around midnight usually. There are several screens mounted on the walls which plays sports events. "
