" We have just stayed here for 5 nights and we have had a perfect holiday. I think some of the reviews on here are very rude, the staff are wonderfully friendly and the hotel offers everything we needed from a lovely little swimming pool, evening entertainment & a delicious buffet breakfast :) We had our 7 year old daughter with us and she thought it was fab (she especially loved the games in the lounge room & the evening entertainment) oh and we won at bingo what more could you want on a uk holiday?! Beach and village shops are just a ten minute walk so it is perfectly located. Yes the hotel is dated but seriously who cares if you can look past that then you will have a wonderful time just like we did! Thank you for having us we hope to visit again one day :) "

" Affordable hotel, a short walking distance from the beach. Entertainment each night and good public areas, with pool tables, table tennis and board games/books available. The rooms are basic, small and could do with an update, but to be expected at the price. The sea views from the breakfast room and café terrace are lovely. "

" It boasts a wonderful sea view of Woolacombe and the hotel is about as retro as you can get. It would have been upto date in the 70's. I totally love it here and can't stop visiting this vintage gem! "
