" Although the appearance of the cafe from the car park is a bit under whelming inside is modern, smart and comfortable with a great glass wall overlooking the lake and outdoor seating if the weather allows. I have had the fantastic local ice cream from Beckleberrys both times I have been.
The down sides on my recent visits have been the service being variable, there are some younger staff who come across as a bit inexperienced although overall the service is good natured. The coffee could be better. Whilst it is generally a peaceful place to come after a days walking or cycling be prepared for bikers who can turn up in groups of alarming size. "

" The gift shop is good: a wide variety and bigger than at the other two lakeside centres. The views are really good, as is the exhibition. The tea shop is quite good, with lovely views of the lakes. The chaffinches in the car park are lovely. "

" Lovely little cafe with great views over the lake. It's at the entrance to Kielder so great place to start or end your adventure. Head down to shoreline to get some breathtaking views "
