" Horrible place. Don’t take student’s complaints for bullying seriously and instead students are victim to bullying from teachers. If you have children in Year 5 and need to decide on where to send them, avoid Trinity at all costs. "

" Buckle up, i'm going to take you on a short but vicious ride through my thoughts on this nightmare.I am a student that is coming up on his GCSE's in the next 10 months, just so you know i talk from firm experience. All issues lie within the priorities of the place. Your education is at the very best third, right behind uniform and attendance. Lets say you want slightly more casual shoes for comfort purposes or a lack of funds to buy them, then you will be constantly bombarded and nagged as well as punished for something so small. My opinion on uniform is that it is redundant and pointless. The only reason they give is that it helps prevent bullying. This is the best piece of fiction I've heard since harry potter with very little evidence to support this astoundingly flimsy claim. The main issue i have however, is the stance on attendance and the curriculum. I never had good attendance personally but not too many people have, and god damn if they dont go full Nazi on you for it. The help they other only works at surface level so lord be damned if the cause of your attendance is due to a mental or unknown issue because the school has absolutely no idea how to cope with it. They will often just try and shift you onto being someone else's problem instead of trying to fix the issue themselves. Then we move onto the curriculum. First off, being forced to do certain subjects is a borderline primitive mindset. Why should we be forced to do subjects that dont matter much and serve little to no purpose? If you can't explain why a subject is mandatory, then it shouldn't be mandatory. A great example of this is the physical education subject, which is hell on earth, believe me. With no shower access and brutal teachers you will want to stop after the first week due to the amount of bullying and lack of hygiene. A good few people intend to smoke just out of school grounds to. I would go to a Sudbury school if i had the funds since not one day goes by where i dont feel depressed or agitated. This school makes people miserable and just a few moments in the school nowadays would prove my point. I'm leaving at the end of the year and I can't physically wait to break the shackles of that prison and move on with my life. Don't send your child here, unless you have to. End of. "

" I am the parent of a child at this school. The school's priorities are all wrong with the focus on appearance rather than substance. The environment is oppressive and there are a swathe of draconian teachers who feel it is acceptable to shout, bully and intimidate students. When challenged about this, the school denies any wrong doing and is totally resistant to change or suggestion. After a year at this school, my daughter is very unhappy and all they seem to care about is what kind of shoes she is wearing. An unpleasant place that makes me feel sick leaving her in the care of every day. Sadly, there seems to be little local alternative so this school keeps getting away with its oppressive and unkind attitude. There are several genuine and good teachers in this school but they struggle to make any difference with the current governance which in my opinion, needs swept away completely. "

" I am a student here, it provides good opportunity, with good facilities, and they care about the students. The school itself is good; some of the kids within the walls make it a hell pit. "
