" Excellent. Visited late afternoon on the off chance that they were still serving. Unfortunately the staff said initially that that it was too late. However, without any persuasion a very helpful member of staff opened the kitchen back up and cooked us some lovely tacos.
You don't get this type of service from the big franchises and this should be one of the reasons that people should visit these little one off cafes. Lovely food, a real mix of people in the bar which appeared to sell a huge range of spirits.

" It's a cocktail bar so service is slow. It's a cocktail bar so everything costs more. It's a bit basic, you'd have thought for the markup on drinks that they'd have made a bit of effort with the decor, but maybe it's a rustic/shabby chic thing? They certainly don't put the profit into the facilities anyway, the gents is a trek and not in great shape. They do however seem to have good customers who create a pleasant buzz and good, friendly staff who facilitate this with pretty well done cocktails. 3 stars seems stingy, 4 stars is just too many. It's a good solid 3.5 and a lot of good will hoping they can push on. "
