" Nice hosts, comfortable beds, good breakfast. We are a family of 4, we took 2 rooms in the farm house and had our own bathroom. The host family was very friendly, telling us the history of the farm. "

" Lovely little cabin set in a very quiet farm complete with hot tub, patio and BBQ area.
The local towns are close and have everything you will need, with Carlisle only 20 minutes away if you're looking for the more high street brands.
Theres a little stream running under the property and plenty of walking space near by. Perfect as a base of operations for the lakes or for just escaping away. The only down side with this place is my hopes for a place with zero mobile signal were scuppered when it turned out I still had strong 4G! "

" We stayed here for two nights camping.the site is lovely and clean. Pitches are large and well spread out and in general very quiet. The facilities are functional and clean "
