" Very Expensive. £14 for a 1 man backpacking tent per night. Lots of noise at night past midnight and early in the morning. There was nobody from the site to have a polite word with the people concerned. Great location but much better value options are available for smaller tents. Left feeling slightly ripped off. "

" Much quieter than the great langdale site. In the morning you can head off to the lakeside and watch sunrise and sunset. Great and engaging staff too "

" only visited here when doing the 3 peak challenge but it seemed a very welcoming place. great veiws. didn't camp but it looked ok' flat and well drained. the mountain was wet and resembled a waterful but the rivers were coping. i would camp here. "

" Perfect position in beautiful surroundings. Lovely and quiet and an excellent pub 1 mile away. Toilet block very clean as well. "
