" Lovely location right at the waters edge in Water head. We had breakfast twice, lunch once (sat outside) and an evening meal here (5 of us). Loved all four meals. The staff are amazingly polite, friendly and helpful and we all agreed when we come back to the Lakes we will stay here too. "

" Absolutely first class hotel. In a boutique style less than 50 metres from the Windermere lake. This hotel is stylish, comfortable, warm and relaxing. The staff were excellent and the service was brilliant, food in both the bar and the restaurant was very very good and the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection. I can not praise this hotel highly enough. We were on the ground floor with views overlooking the lake and despite the weather (rain and more rain) it did not spoil our enjoyment of the hotel, the area or the amenities available. "
