The Wednesbury Marksmen club was founded in 1982. The Wednesbury range was built in 1982 as a purpose built shooting range in the heart of Wednesbury. The building was home to the Wednesbury Marksmen club, and JLS arms importers and shop. The shop and club changed hands in 1994. In 1997 the range diversified to provide facilities for Air rifle, Archery, and cross bow shooting. The range building was bought in 2008 and continues to be a shooting centre providing range facilities to a host of disciplines. The range offers a 25-metre shooting range, clubroom, kitchen facilities, storage facilities, and a well-stocked shop.
