" Dear Pizza Hut
I want to start off by telling you how much I love pizza, not just pizza but Pizza Hut in particular. I have eaten in your restaurants for decades and enjoy taking my family there but today was not one for the record books.
I took my family to your Glengormly branch for lunch/dinner. We are not rich, in fact we're actively aspiring to become poor so it's always handy when we get discount vouchers!
I usually go to your Lisburn branch (which is always good) who take my voucher and offer me heaps of discounted food that I could only dream about without the voucher, so I walked into Glengormly armed with another voucher (50% off!!) and presented it to the waiter via my phone with a beaming smile,
"Yeah, we won't be doing that" he replied.
"Oh, Okay". by this point we were sitting down and my kids were already colouring in, add to that my wife would never forgive me for showing her up! So I swallowed my terror and we ordered the "Family meal deal" which was 35.00 pounds.
I was looking forward to my large sharing pepperoni pizza with the thin crust and tried to put my 50% rejection behind me, then it arrived.
This pizza was something special, an oily unpleasant mess that looked like it had been held under a newly tapped oil well. My wife and I looked at each other and not being the sort to make a scene in a mostly empty restaurant we resolved to try to fix it.
We went to the salad bar and took 13 napkins THIRTEEN! We then opened them fully and used them one at a time to sop up the oil slick on our dinner.
We then lifted the newly pressed pizza to our mouths and discovered that this oily treat was also UNDER the pizza and we had to do mop up the bread too. This is the first time in my life I have not finished my pizza or taken it home with me.
Those cool little wooden trays you serve food on are usually pretty dry but this one was slick with oil.
It is now 4 hours since I had my meal and I have gone to the toilet 5 times, such is the power of a meal that was at least 80% vegetable oil. I can now say with absolute certainty that Pizza Hut Glengormly is selling the most powerful laxative in the UK.
I am not happy and would appreciate a response. Please tell the waiter who I didn't tip I'm really sorry, he was great but the food was up there with the worst I've ever eaten and I once went to a Little Chef in the 1980's. "

" Geat food as always... Big fan of pizza hut and as far as Pizza Hut goes this is one of the best... Great staff who are always friendly. Its a fun, laid back environment gr8 for families... Will definitely be back "
