" This was one of my favourite stops of the trip for the sheer intensity of it. A beautiful museum with a somber history shared in a tangible way. After spending a few hours here I walked the streets to find the landmarks and murals highlighted here, a beautiful and reflective way to spend a day basking in the history of Northern Ireland. "

" Great starting point if you want to learn about the City's history. Story starts from early settlement through to the Plantation of Londonderry and on to the growth of the City in the 18th/19th century.
Also of great interest is the more contemporary period of the civil rights movement/"the troubles" and where Derry is today in terms of peace and reconciliation.
