The Spitfire which crashed into a Donegal bog during the war is on display along with the wonderful story of it's American pilot who survived both the crash and the war. This Spitfire featured in local media and the pilot's 2 daughters came from USA to open the exhibition. Despite all this I had great difficulty finding out where this exhibition was. None of the City of Culture staff knew where either it or the Workhouse museum were. Thank God for Google! "
