After more than 24 hour riots against the Cafe Onboard the page admin decided enough is enough and changed some settings. the admin is not a part of the crew. the admin does not work on the boat and not even a local to Bideford... Shame that none of you asked our point of view... Nobody really cares what happened - the main thing is - get all steamed up. Is it tippical to Bideford? You all just followed an angry, sulky mother who’s got 3 children and endless time to spend on... social media instead of interacting with her children. And we are not apologizing to a customer who ignored not only her own child but everybody around her in the indoor area of the cafe by simply being on her mobile phone instead of comforting her crying child. I am a mother myself but I never, ever made anybody in a public place suffer because I was too busy on social media and could not give my child a hug!!! For 4 years we have been a free child minding place for some local families... It is not our job to keep your children entertained and safe while you are having a drink... or simply ignoring them...
Thank you very much for ALL THE TIME YOU’VE SPENT on social media ranting about us - seems we are very important to you.
CAFE ONBOARD WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE PUBLIC THIS COMMING SATURDAY (9.6.18) TILL 1PM..... :) sorrrrry...we will be serving private breakfast for a very happy (i hope) newlyweds!!! ;)
