The North East Sling Library is the oldest sling library in the North East. There are over 360 slings in the library, with slings suitable from premature baby to preschool (and beyond). We are based in Durham City but have library sessions across the region. I have trained with 3 different carrying schools, and a qualified teacher and tutor for Born to Carry. I hold a current CRB check and am fully insured. I am a member of The British Association of Babywearing Instructors.
Library drop in sessions are free to attend with sling hire costing £8 for 4 weeks. We can offer support to you to tweak your own sling and ask only for a donation if attending our drop ins for this purpose. Carrying consultations are available to offer 1:1 dedicated support. Postal hire can also be arranged.
