" Stayed at the hotel for a weekend break 4th/6th Nov. Ample car parking and a great location for exploring the area. Receptionist extremely friendly and efficient. Hotel is a traditional 'station hotel' but there is a beautiful modern extension housing a bistro opening onto a beer garden. Our room was a good size and clearly recently renovated with flat screen TV, tea/coffee, ironing board/iron, hairdryer etc. but the bed advertised online as king-size was actually super-king and very comfortable with a choice of soft/firmer pillows. Excellent breakfast choice with very friendly efficient staff. We will definitely return to this hotel. "
