" Met friends over from the US here and they wanted to try real Scottish food. Waitress was amazing, very friendly and suggested places to visit and foods to try whilst over here.
Menu was good, reasonably priced and lovely food. Nice atmosphere.

" Was in town on vacation (from the US). Went in for a bite to eat with my family. We all had the Steak and Ale pie. It was phenomenal, gravy was delicious, meat was flavorful and tender. The pastry was like eating a butter, flaky cloud. In addition to that, prices were fair and service was great. Clean restaurant. Will definitely go back the next time I hit the UK. "

" Booked 18 Golfers for a meal on both Friday & Sat in April. Comprehensive menu gave everyone a good choice and the food was excellent. Service good. Even asking for separate Drinks bills for groups of us didn't seem to cause any problem. "

" Rooms are clean enough but a bit shabby. The bar is top notch though. Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. All the staff were great. "
