" Where to start, I took my car in for a mot. They got back to me and said it failed due to some body work needing done. I said that’s fine and got a quote for an hours work to patch up the bit of body work and another hour for the paint to dry then they can redo the mot. Lo and behold I go back the next day they said it will be ready and tested before closing time. I phone back at 5 and was told not done yet. Give the benefit of the doubt and go with what I was told then of it will be ready the next day before closing. This happens 4 days on the trot. They had my car for a week and a half and I just got my car back. Would advise against this place if you don’t want to wait for ages for your car. They also really didn’t seem to have a clue what they were talking about most the time especially when quoting how many hours it would take to complete a job. "

" Please avoid this place if you don’t want your car in there garage for 3 weeks but still not been fixed. The guy there told me in the 1st day they need 4 hours to repair my car. 3 weeks later, they still need 4 hours more. Strong recommendation if you want to ruin your life! "

" I had a tyre changeout a couple of weeks ago.
Do not take your car here unless it's old and battered.
First up, the young lad cracked off my wheel nuts before jacking up - which is fine, but he continued loosening each nut until the wheel dismounted the hub and the whole car dropped a couple of millimeters. This damaged the alloy.
He then proceeded to lift the car up with a flat-plate jack, on the lip of the sill and bent the lip.
Tyre changed out (set to the wrong pressure, as I discovered later on), refitted the wheel with an impact driver. I then asked him to torque the nuts to spec, to which he complied. Not only was each nut already far tighter than spec (because of the impact driver), but even when the torque wrench clicked immediately, he continued tugging on it to further over-tighten the nuts. What's the point of a torque wrench if you're gonna wang it further 10 degrees.
Finally, I asked if they could wipe of the thick coating of tyre soap, which was met with a grunt and a bit of half-arsed smearing.
I've never seen someone care less about a job, or comprehensively screw up so many parts of an easy task. "

" My recent experience with this garage was completely different to the last one 6 months ago. Last time they fitted a new exhaust to my car at short notice which was great however this time I asked them to check my brakes (because a red light was coming up on my dash) and why my engine temperature was fluctuating. They said they would do a diagnostic and some checks and I left the car with them for 24 hours. It turns out they checked nothing on the car and only did a diagnostics which they said returned no faults. When I challenged them on this, the attitude of the guy was dismissive and unhelpful. There was a smirk on his face the whole time I spoke to him and he admitted to me that "he doesn't know whats going on around here". It was as if it was all one big joke to him. I decided to check the car myself (which with insight I would have been better doing myself) and it turns out I was low on brake fluid and my engine coolant was dirty. Baffles me why they couldn't investigate these basic checks themselves. They could have had some business off me, but it was very clear they couldn't be bothered or were simply incompetent. They get one star from me as they didn't do anything to help. "

" Tyres fitted for me on short notice as I didn’t have a spare which was great.
Both tyres weren’t fitted properly though resulting in both leaking from the rim and valves weren’t changed meaning I had to spend another £60 to get this fixed at a reputable tyre fitter.
