" Went here at the weekend to take photographs. Both the castle and remains of the theme park are so intresting, beautiful and amazing! Had a great time walking around and exploring. Walked through from the leisure center. Not once passing any signs saying to keep out private land. Fully recommend going....but do respect the land and watch out for the grumpy owner/squatters that are there!! They are not very friendly... there dogs better behaved!! Fab place!! "

" Im not one for leaving reviews on places I visit, however I feel I should certainly let the people at Loudoun Castle know what a great job they did in giving us a great day.

We came as a big family of 10 people, varying in all ages and sizes. Despite this every single one of us had a brilliant day out. The admission fee admittedly isn't cheap, however once you've paid to get in that's you!! It is very good vaule for money when you consider that you can go on the rides as many times as you like. The kids didn't hold back either.....on and off the Twist n Shout and Black Pearl like nothing else.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, you can't really ask for any more than that. The scenery was breathtaking as well, and its only a 45 minute drive from our home!!
The park was busy but the queues for the rides were very reasonable. The ride operators seemed to be very efficient at their jobs and kept us all smiling. We enjoyed the shows that were on throughout the day and of course the rides too. The castle ruins appealed to one or two of the older members of the group, and kept them amused for a good while.

All in all it was a cracking day out for our family and I would very much recommend it to others who have not yet tried it out. Keep up the good work Loudoun!!

" I took my son to the park for his birthday and we had a fantastic day. The place was well groomed and the staff were friendly, the shows and the rides were good entertainment even for young kids although my son couldn't get on everything due to his height. The only criticism is the trek from the car park up to the main facility and it would be nice to see a miniature railway or something similar to run the length of the park.

I thought it was a great day out and good value for money. It's not quite Alton Towers, but I didn't expect that and it's far from the skank-fest that is M&D's. I'll definitely be back! "
