" What more could a person want! Sleeping right next to the oldest greatest golf course in the World! There is something special about this hotel and the history of the worlds greatest golf players who have walked past this magnificent hotel, over looking the 18th fairway.
The rooms are so lovely, the hotel staff are so friendly. A credit goes to everyone involved with this hotel and a world class service is guaranteed! From the decor, the rooms, the food, the location and the friendly and most welcoming staff, this is a place every visitor or local person needs to experience! "

" The hotel offers a spectacular view of the first and eighteenth holes on the Old Course. Service is friendly, attentive and responsive. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Food was excellent. Housekeeping was reliable and efficient. Don't expect a US style hotel...after all, this is Scotland and a vintage hotel! "
